PURE TRIATHLON

The Aerolight frame is a clear and strong BH wager for Triathlon.


Jointly developed with the BH Triathlon team, the BH Aerolight HCIM carbon frame with its aggressive, lightweight design maximizes aerodynamics without compromising rigidity. It offers a wide range of settings that adapt to the needs of each triathlete. The incorporated stem allows 4 positions, the seatpost offers a virtual angle between 74§ and 80§, and the Di2 battery can be integrated and hidden in the frame. The frontal area has been designed to join the frame, enveloping the front wheel and hiding the front brake to achieve a flat 100% aerodynamic surface that stabilizes the wind from the first contact.


MARK THE DIFFERENCE IN COMPETITION

The Aerolight is the ideal bicycle for top triathletes. It is a bike designed to slice the wind, reach top speeds, explode across the flats and make the differences in uphill climbs. The overall design lines are all the results of numerous brainstorming sessions held by the technical and sports sections of BH in order to attain the most advanced, spectacular and top of the line triathlon bicycle possible.


100% CARBON HCIM (HOLLOW CORE INTERNAL MOLDING)

The Aerolight frame has been manufactured in accordance with the principles of the other top BH frames, such as the Ultralight and G6 models. In building the Aerolight frame, a number of innovative technologies have been implemented into the overall development process in order to control and optimize the ideal carbon wall thicknesses for the different locations within the frame. Also the most appropriate carbon layups are developed and then applied to a minimal carbon layer molding technique in order to ensure extreme rigidity in a lightweight frame design. This proprietary manufacturing process uses a combination of high and medium modulus materials in order to attain the high standards demanded by BH.

AERODYNAMIC SEATPOST DESIGN

The aerodynamic seat tube design, allowing for a seat angle of between 74§ and 78§ allows the rider to adopt a more relaxed or more aggressive positioning.


POWER ALIGNED WITH THE HEADTUBE/TOPTUBE SEAMLESS COUPLING

The headtube design is built around an 1 1/8? bearing both at the top and bottom race. It has been manufactured in a narrow, stylized shape in order to offer the frame a more aggressive, aerodynamic form. The headtube surface seamlessly blends into the airfoil inspired fork blades which house the cutout for the rear mounted front brake Design.


AERO GEOMETRICS

The geometry of the new frame offers a wide range of adjustments that may be modified based on needs. The new Aerolight maintains the size of the rear chainstays at 380 mm, notably increasing the cyclist?s responsiveness and explosiveness while in motion.

AERODYNAMIC DESIGN

CUSTOMIZED BIOMECHANICS POSITIONING The seatpost can be adjusted in an angle of 74§ to 78§ degrees and the handlebar adapts to 4 positions. With that, the triathlete can choose a more aggressive or relaxed position to suit their needs.

UNIFIED FRONT END

POWER ALIGNED WITH THE HORIZONTAL TUBE And the reduced size steering post means that the fork and diagonal tube surround the front wheel for perfect coupling. The front brake has been hidden to create a flatter and aerodynamic surface.

INTERNAL DI2 BATTERY

FRAME INCORPORATES AN INTERNAL Di2 BATTERY The frame has been adapted to incorporate a D12 battery without it being visible from the outside.
