After taking her first 70.3 win in 2011, following an impressive and frustrating string of second place finishes at the 70.3 distance earlier in her career, Angela Naeth has returned from late season injury to start 2012 with a strong victory in Panama.
As always, Angela used her blazing bike speed to close the gap out of the water, with the fastest bike split of the women, and then used her growing run strength to take the lead for good. After exiting T2 on the heels of Leanda Cave, Angela soon overtook Cave and never looked back. Finishing with a winning margin of more than 3 minutes, Angela was able to enjoy her solo run into the finish for her 2nd ever 70.3 victory in the pro field.
Angela was pretty happy with the win, as you might expect; "The 70.3 Panama race had a tough course, fierce competitors and unrelenting temperatures. I'm very happy to have won and can't wait for the rest of 2012! Thanks BH for one fast bike!"

We're super proud of this talented young woman and can't wait to see how many more races she wins in 2012 aboard her BH!
