Javier Moreno Snags First Victory of the Year for Caja Rural

It was a rough day of steep climbs and intense racing at the Tour of Asturias this past weekend, punctuated by rain and hail. But in the end, Javier Moreno managed to finish a breakaway group of five riders who commanded the race in the final kilometers, winning the queen stage with a time of 6:12:55.

This critical stage win set up Moreno, and the entire Caja Rural team, for the overall win of the 55th edition of the Tour of Asturias.
