Eneko Llanos fought hard to dominate the Memorial Herman Ironman Texas triathlon at The Woodlands, near Houston, on Saturday.
The BH-sponsored triathlete completed a great race and was very satisfied with his performance. "I finished very happy," says Llanos. "Since I swim strongly, I led the race early. The pace seemed to be fast, without time to relax. I passed a few people at the end of the swimming section, which placed me in a good position to address the first miles of the bike, "explained Eneko.
Piloting his BH Bikes GC Aero, Eneko managed to escape with Luke Bell to take a small distance of six minutes at the start of the run on Chris Lieto. Llanos kept a strong pace on the run, and finished the race in front of the pack.
With this win, the BH-sponsored triathlete adds to successes in the Middle Marbella and Ironman Championship Spain's Winter Triathlon.
