There are several race results to point out since the RideClean p/b PatentIt.com Cycling Teams last email update - most notably a recent podium and victory at the third USA Crit Series race, the Giro d' Grafton. Clay Murfet scored the win on the Men's side as Erica Allar notched up another 2nd place visit while defending her 2010 Overall Champion status. http://www.ridecleanteam.com/content/usa-crit-series-successes
Additionally, Jon Parrish pulled off his third "W" of the year in the Bike the Bluff Road Race. There were also some local and regional wins (Arizona, California, Colorado by JR Grabinger, Logan Loader, Allar and Murfet), a surprise "off-the-couch" triathlon victory by Paul Thomas as well as an Arizona State Championship Criterium win (Parrish). Check out the results page for a complete listing of victories and podium appearances. http://www.ridecleanteam.com/results
On the community side of the house, in April both RideClean co-founder Doug Loveday and team member Jame Carney were able to represent the mission for Clean Sport at the 2nd Annual Conference on Doping - an event promoted by Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory. SMRTL is responsible for millions of dollars in grants funding for anti-doping research. The inclusion of the RideClean program is an acknowledgement that the cultural side of the issue is of importance in the challenge to keep sport clean. http://www.smrtl.org/uploads/files/59/SMRTL%20Conference%20Announcement%202011%20v3.pdf
